On behalf of the Lasker Foundation, I invite you to submit a nomination for the 2026 Lasker Medical Research Awards.

Since 1945, Lasker Awards have recognized the contributions of scientists, physicians, and public citizens who have made major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of disease.

In 2026, the Medical Research Awards will be offered in two categories: Basic Research and Clinical Research. Nominations for the 2026 Lasker~Bloomberg Public Service Award can be made by through a separate portal by clicking here.

Lasker Awards often presage future Nobel Prizes, and they have become known popularly as America’s most prestigious biomedical award. To date, 101 Lasker Laureates have received the Nobel Prize, including twelve the last ten years.

A distinguished panel of jurors will select the scientists to be honored with Lasker Medical Research Awards. The Awards will be announced to the public in September 2026.
